About the position

As a support assistant in housing support, you will work in the client's home, providing support in daily tasks and creating a meaningful and sustainable everyday life. The work is flexible, varied, and always based on the individual needs of the client.

You will work in a team that covers the entire Järfälla municipality, where collaboration and participation are central. Together with the client, you will plan interventions aimed at increasing independence and quality of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing practical and social support in the home
• Motivating and strengthening the individual's own abilities and resources
• Documenting interventions according to current guidelines
• Collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant education in care and nursing (e.g., nursing assistant, mental health worker) or other experience with the target group
• Has knowledge of mental health issues, neuropsychiatric diagnoses, substance abuse, or self-harm behavior
• Has experience with methods such as low-arousal approach and motivational interviewing (MI)
• Is computer literate
• Speaks and writes Swedish
• Experience using sign language (meritorious)
• Has a B driver's license (meritorious)
